One the 13th of October, 2010, Tim Buckingham (the father to-be of twins Marty-Marty-Marty-Marty and Marty-Marty-Marty-Marty-Marty) and Greg Capillo made a pact to put away their razors. Starting NOW (11:12 pm) until March 1st, the two men will stand in solidarity and grow EPIC Nordic beards. Greg contacted Nick Asher of Bowling Green shortly after the pact was made official with a group WOOP to invite him to join the cause. Nick turned down the opportunity, but according to a brief interview with Tim, "he and Greg will turn him around because they're ORGANIZERS!"
Why do such a preposterous thing? Why should Tim risk a happy marriage? Why should Greg creepify his tiny town with his sparce trickle? For the Bees.
If they stand strong, then a select group of people has agreed to donate $120 to the Bees (The Beehive Design Collective www.beehivecollective.org). If they are weak men--which we don't think they are--but if they are weak men and shave their NORDIC BEARDS, then they have agreed to march in the boxers (buttons up, please) on I Love Mountains Day in Frankfurt, KY.
